Privacy

Last updated on 6 October 2026

ibin checks websites for accessibility problems. This page explains what we keep about you, why, and for how long. In short: we keep as little as we can, we never sell data, and we use no tracking or advertising cookies.

ibin is run by Codeurs bv, Muizenstraat 172, 1981 Hofstade, BE 0552.544.959 (RPR Mechelen). Questions about your data? Email info@codeurs.be.

When you check a page

  • We keep the address of the page, the results, a screenshot of the page and close-ups of the places with problems.
  • Without an account, your checks are linked to a cookie in your browser and deleted after 24 hours.
  • With an account, each check is kept for 30 days.
  • If you turn on weekly checks for a site, we keep a short summary of each check (which kinds of problems we found on which pages) while they are on and for 90 days after you stop them.

When you use your email address

  • We keep your email address to send you sign-in links and to tell you when a whole-site check is done.
  • We only send news about new plans and features if you ticked that box. You can ask us to stop at any time.

To prevent abuse

We count how many checks and emails are requested. For this we keep your IP address and email address only in scrambled form that cannot be turned back, and for at most one day.

Results you choose to share

When you create a public link, the page addresses and results can be seen by anyone with the link for up to a year, or until you take it offline. They show a screenshot of the first page you checked, but never code or your email address.

Cookies

We only use cookies that ibin needs to work: one keeps your checks together in this browser, one keeps you signed in. We use no analytics or advertising cookies, so we do not need to ask for permission.

Who helps us

  • Cloudflare hosts ibin and runs the browser that visits the pages you check.
  • Mailchimp Transactional (Mandrill) sends our emails.
  • If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us. We keep them with your account and only use your email address.
  • When you ask for a second look, an AI model run by Cloudflare rates the page. It receives a short text description of the page you checked, never the screenshot or your email address.
  • If you buy a plan, Paddle sells it to you as our reseller: it handles the payment, VAT and invoices. Paddle receives your email address and payment details; we never see your card details.

Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete your data. You can delete a report yourself at any time in My reports. To delete your account, email us. If you are not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country. In Belgium that is the Data Protection Authority.
